Charming first communion purse made of delicate powder pink silk, adorned with an elegant passementerie medallion intricately worked in a spiral pattern, and a matching scalloped trim, protected by an old domed glass frame.
The model features a wide, soft flap, typical of late 19th and very early 20th century productions.
It closes with a tone-on-tone satin ribbon, which also allows it to be worn on the wrist. This small purse was formerly used to hold a rosary, a prayer book, and a few precious souvenirs from the first communion day.
This precious purse is presented in an old domed glass frame to preserve it.

Old domed glass

Pros:
✅ The molded frame with floral relief decoration recalls the style of Napoleon III or Belle Époque frames, perfectly consistent with the estimated age of the purse.
✅ The domed glass provides a precious, almost museum-like depth, which protects the fragile silk and highlights its relic-like sentimental character.
✅ The contrast between the gilded tone of the frame and the powder pink of the silk is harmonious.
✅ The presence of the small bouquet and textile elements at the back beautifully completes the staging (reminiscent of wedding globes and religious souvenir frames).
✅ The ensemble becomes a complete decorative piece, ready to be hung or displayed on an easel.
