Lovely Art Deco powder box dating from the 1920s. It is made of orange-red porcelain, enhanced with a Mary Gregory-style decoration of 2 black and white silhouettes surrounded by small stylized roses. Mary Gregory (1856 - 1908) was an American artist specializing in glass whose works were adorned with fine enameled silhouettes typical of the Victorian era.
