Each knife consists of a bovine horn handle decorated with a silver metal ferrule and a stainless steel blade.
Stainless steel was invented in 1913 in Sheffield (United Kingdom): it was a certain Harry Brearley who led the casting and forging of stainless steel table knife blades. This first commercial application will foreshadow thousands of others.
These 6 knives are in very good condition and presented in their original case (Art Deco period).
