Very beautiful cameo pendant in 800 thousandths silver, whose ring is foldable to become a brooch. The cameo, carved on seashell (conch shell), represents the profile of the God Apollo, his head adorned with a laurel wreath. Period: early 20th century.
The cameo of the pendant-brooch is surrounded by 14 marcasites. It is fitted with a pin with a secure clasp and can therefore be worn as a pendant with a chain or cord, or as a brooch.
The engraving is of great finesse and it is in excellent condition.
The whole is in 800 thousandths hallmarked silver.
