Superb perfume bottle in cut crystal, made for the prestigious Maison Violet in Paris, one of the oldest French perfume houses, founded in 1827 and famous under the Second Empire as a supplier to Empress Eugenie.
This delicate elongated bottle features long vertical panels cut with a wheel, typical of 19th-century crystal work.
Its decoration is enhanced with star patterns painted in fine gold, accompanied by a small golden bee—an imperial symbol par excellence, widely used between 1850 and 1880 in prestige objects.
The inscription VIOLET À PARIS, applied in gold, remains clearly legible, confirming its period manufacture.
