Elegant late 19th-century English toilet bottle, in faceted cut crystal, mounted with a vermeil sterling silver frame.
The frame and stopper are hallmarked FD for the silversmith, lion passant for 925 silver, leopard's head for London, letter L corresponding to the year 1886, as well as the head of Queen Victoria, confirming Victorian production.
The bottle is topped with a vermeil silver stopper, finely monogrammed SL or LS, indicating a personal commission or use at the time and hallmarked like the frame.
Inside, the original crystal stopper is present but currently stuck, a common situation for this type of old bottle and without impact on its decorative or collectible value.
