This charming Art Deco-inspired, hand-painted porcelain candy box, signed L. Luc, evokes the discreet charm of Limoges or Vallauris creations from the 1950s.
Its curved shape, topped with an elegant lid adorned with a golden handle, highlights a stylized floral decor. The large black foliage frames large, very graphic pink flowers, in a late Art Deco or modernist vintage style. The whole is enhanced by a subtle play of gilding and contrast, both refined and assertive.
💠 Handwritten signature "L. Luc" visible on one side, probably the work of an independent decorator or a French art studio.
💠 Condition: in very good condition, no chips or cracks.
💠 Dimensions: height with lid 15 cm, without lid 10 cm, base diameter 12.5 cm, top diameter 7.5 cm, weight 442 g.
💠 Estimated period: circa 1950.
