Magnificent Art Deco enamelled ceramic panther from Sainte-Radegonde, France.
The Sainte-Radegonde earthenware factory was located in Touraine: in 1887, Gustave Asch transferred his ceramic decoration workshops from Tours to Sainte-Radegonde and installed the equipment necessary for the manufacture and firing of pastes. The factory had several successive owners, notably the Parisian company Primavera in 1920, with 45 employees. It definitively closed its doors in 1986 (source: https://atoursnord.wixsite.com).
The Sainte-Radegonde mark is embossed under the base (see photo).

Dimensions: base (terrace) 44 cm by 12 cm, total height 26 cm, weight 2.860 kg.
In excellent condition (2 tiny wear chips on the paw tip and the edge of the base, see photos), it is superb and will beautifully decorate your interior.
