This charming little ceramic fawn is a typical Vallauris production, famous for its sweet and poetic animal creations in the 1950s–1960s.
The delicately modeled fawn rests on a rectangular base enameled in deep green. Its brown and cream coat, punctuated by small dark spots, and its naive and endearing expression give it a tender presence. It is accompanied by a small integrated pot, which can be used as a cachepot, a trinket dish, or a simple decorative element.
