Charming antique cameo brooch, which can also be worn as a pendant, carved on shell, representing an elegant Spanish woman wearing a mantilla held in place by a comb.

The cameo is surrounded by small pearls and is mounted on 800/1000th silver (800 hallmark).

Small safety clasp. Period: early 20th century.

Inside the shell is an engraved inscription that appears to be "Dona Isabel" (?)

The brooch is in good condition (note: some small pearls are a little worn, which does not detract from the beauty of this jewel).
