Beautiful German porcelain platter marked CT for Carl Tielsch Altwasser. The green eagle mark with CT indicates that this item was made between 1887 and the early 1900s. This superb platter features a decoration of violets and lilies of the valley enhanced with golden scrolls. Its wavy-edged shape is particularly delicate.
It is in very good condition on the top and edges (please note: a small chip on the underside rim, see photo).
This large romantic platter can be used to present food or be purely decorative, as it is so charming.
