Very nice vintage espresso set, consisting of 8 demitasse cups and saucers in 90g silver-plated metal (Prata 90 hallmark) from the Brazilian silversmith Cristofoli (hallmark on the bottom of the cup) and their small white porcelain cups with silver rim by Pozzani porcelain. This set dates from the 1960s-70s and was manufactured and purchased in Brazil.
In total, there are 24 pieces. The 8 demitasse cups and 8 saucers have been used but are in very good condition, as are 5 small Pozzani porcelain cups and 2 small Renner porcelain cups of the same size. Please note: some wear to the silver rim in places on the edge of the porcelain cups and 1 small Pozzani porcelain cup has been re-glued and will need to be replaced (see photo).
The set is absolutely charming and very contemporary with its elegance and simplicity!
