Lovely pair of antique rice spoons from Asia (probably Thailand). The large one is made of black lacquer and has a handle carved in the shape of a dragon's head and tail, the small one is made of translucent buffalo horn and ends with a curved handle carved in the shape of a dragon's head and tail, which can be hung on the edge of a bowl.
They are both in excellent condition and form a harmonious set.
These are utilitarian but also very decorative items.
