Charming vintage PMP Plaue German porcelain inkwell made in East Germany (GDR). It bears the "PMP 1817 Made in GDR handpainted" stamp, which was used by this manufacturer between 1973 and 1989.
Every detail is hand-painted, showcasing a range of richly colored small flowers adorning the contours of this elegant inkwell with a unique and original rocaille-style shape enhanced with gold trim.
The mark is located on the rim of the base.
It is in excellent condition (note: the stopper is missing) and will make a beautiful decorative item.
