Charming small antique bottle in clear crystal , with an elegant and soft silhouette, typical of late 19th-century purse or travel bottles. The crystal is finely crafted and retains its beautiful transparency.
It is topped with a vermeil stopper , finely chased with plant motifs. The stopper bears two boar hallmarks (one on the neck, the other on the stopper), attesting to French gilded silver. The vermeil now has an old patina , with natural wear areas, which fully contribute to the authenticity and charm of the piece.
The bottle no longer has its inner stopper.
Also note a very small old chip at the base , discreet and without affecting stability or presentation.
A delicate bottle, full of character, ideal as a collector's item , for display or to complete a set of antique bottles.
