Charming small miniature frame from the Napoleon III period in gilded brass, delicately adorned with flowers and volutes in twisted wire.
This delightful miniature decorative object captivates with its refinement and poetry. Its openwork floral decoration evokes the small precious objects that were once displayed on a gueridon table, in a boudoir, or a curio cabinet.
The frame retains its old glass and its easel system on the back. Its slightly oxidized patina and wear on the gilding and paint beautifully attest to its age.
A delicate image with violets has been slipped inside, as a nod to the world of Charme des Violettes, highlighting all the romanticism of this antique miniature.
