Pretty pair of Sarreguemines earthenware fruit bowls with small blue and white squares around the edge. They date from the mid-19th century to 1920.

The 2 compote bowls are in good general condition: no cracks, 1 tiny chip in one (see photo) and normal wear which does not detract from their charm.
