Charming modelled porcelain floral brooch depicting a delicate flower with cream petals delicately shaded with violet, accompanied by embossed green leaves.
This brooch comes from the Staffordshire region of England, famous for its ceramic tradition since the 18th century. The Cara China mark appears on the back of the setting, accompanied by the mention Made in England.
The flower is entirely sculpted in polychrome porcelain, with a beautiful violet gradient work on the petals and a textured heart evoking the pistil of the flower. The embossed composition gives this delicately romantic jewel a lot of presence.
These porcelain floral brooches were produced in the second half of the 20th century in the English decorative tradition inspired by naturalistic flowers.
💜 A charming brooch, perfect for bringing a floral and poetic touch to a jacket, coat or hat.
