Elegant cut crystal bottle, topped with its original, perfectly fitting solid silver cap. A refined little object, both decorative and steeped in history.
The crystal features a beautiful geometrical crosshatch decoration, with a star cut into the bottom, typical of English productions from the late Edwardian period. Its compact and balanced shape gives it great elegance despite its small size.
The cap is made of 925 sterling silver, hallmarked in Chester. It bears the lion passant attesting to solid silver, the Chester crest, the date letter P corresponding to the year 1915, as well as the master's mark FP.
A beautiful example of early 20th century English silversmithing, combining sobriety, quality and refinement, ideal for a collection of perfume or scent bottles, or as a display object.

Very good antique condition. Slight traces of use and micro-scratches on the silver, consistent with the age of the object. Please note: 1 micro-chip on the upper edge of the crystal stopper and 1 micro-chip on the upper edge of the screw-on neck of the crystal bottle.
