A lovely square serving dish in Czech porcelain with a violet decoration typical of the interwar period.
On the back: a crest-shaped stamp and a number.
This piece was produced by the factory Porzellanfabrik Pfeiffer & Löwenstein in Schlackenwerth, now Ostrov in Czechoslovakia.
Pfeiffer & Löwenstein was a factory founded in 1873, which produced fine porcelain, and used the brand P.L. or PL in a crowned crest with the name Schlackenwerth.
Their production was largely intended for export, particularly to Germany, Great Britain and the United States, which explains why we sometimes see:

“Empire” or “Empir” (name of the decorative line)
