Large antique Cameo brooch, which can also be worn as a pendant, engraved on shell, in a finely chased 800 thousandths silver setting (see hallmark).

The young woman represented is of great finesse and the brooch is in excellent condition (note: some original lines on the back of the shell that do not detract from the beauty of the object, see photos).
