Pretty crystal dolphin figurine, from the northern French crystal factory Cristal d'Arques.
The “Cristal d’Arques Paris” brand was created in 1968 . At this time, technical innovation made it possible to produce real crystal stemware in automatic manufacturing. Crystal, until now a luxury product, became much more affordable.
The brand offers numerous collections, including “Versailles”, “Pompadour”, “Rambouillet”, and especially the “Longchamp” collection launched in 1979 .
In 2007, Arc International experienced difficulties. The group, which belongs to the Durand family, chooses to refocus on its core business: glass. At the end of 2009, crystal production in Arques was stopped.
This charming crystal dolphin is in perfect condition, without any chips, and still bears its label.
It will complete a collection of crystal animals or will be an opportunity to start one.
