Its lid is adorned with an enamelled design featuring stylized powder puff motifs in orange, ivory, and black tones, typical of the Art Deco aesthetic. This emblematic Coty motif was long attributed to René Lalique, but today is often linked to the decorator Léon Bakst.
The interior retains its mirror, original powder puff, and traces of powder, moving testaments to its past use.
The back is marked with Coty, Paris's Art Deco signature.
