Very beautiful Directoire style coffee maker from the 19th century, in Saxony porcelain signed BF, white and blue immortal decoration, with its lid. The spout is swan neck typical of the Directoire and Empire styles.
The porcelain designation of Saxony covers the production of several German factories in the Saxony region from the beginning of the 18th century , according to the process discovered and developed in 1709 by the chemist Frédéric Böttger.
It is in good general condition: it shows a little wear and a few tiny chips of glaze on one side, a small loss inside the lid and a few very small chips around the interior edge. Beak intact and no cracks and well preserved considering its age.
